Tournament Rules

Everything teams, coaches and managers need to know before kickoff.

Format

• Saturday: full round-robin group stage, four groups of four per age group.
• Sunday: knockout finals day — Gold, Silver, Bronze and Plate brackets, quarterfinal through final.
• Every team is guaranteed six matches across the weekend.

Match Duration

• U9–U11 (7 v 7): two 15-minute halves.
• U12–U13 (9 v 9): two 20-minute halves.

Eligibility & Conduct

• Open to all Auckland-based teams within the listed age groups.
• Fair Play Wardens are on-site throughout the weekend to uphold a respectful sideline culture.
• Coaches and managers must remain within marked technical areas.

Officiating

Two paid, qualified referees are assigned to every field for every match across both days.
